What is Deen @ Dartmouth?

Deen @ Dartmouth is a two-day New England Muslim student conference that brings together college students from across the region for a weekend of reflection, connection, and spiritual growth.

This is our second year!

This summit is a testament and celebration of our faith, and an opportunity to foster unity, collaboration, and authentic connection amongst Muslim college students across the region. Not to mention a chance to prepare for Ramadan!

What to Expect

We will be having inspiring guest speakers, interactive discussions, and meaningful Islamic events, including:

Qiyam Night

A night of spiritual freedom with dedicated spaces for brothers and sisters to reflect on their journeys in Islam and uplift one another.

Community Meals

Delicious halal catering from Basha Grill (Mediterranean) and Batulo's Kitchen (Somali).

Guest Speakers

Imam Akram Uddin

Toronto, Canada

A dynamic imam of Indian origins known for his ability to connect deeply with Muslim youth. Imam Akram brings a wealth of Islamic knowledge combined with a genuine understanding of the challenges young Muslims face today. We are honored to have him join us from Toronto for this special gathering.

Sirad Hassan

Harvard University

A Somali-American scholar currently pursuing her PhD at Harvard University. Sirad completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton and earned her Master's at Columbia. She is passionate about mental health in Islam and public health in marginalized communities—making her the perfect voice to lead our mental health panel.
